February Sketch #303 ... Beautiful by Vivian Lake

Hello!! Vivian Lake here today with my version of sketch #303.

I was inspired by the journaling and the two pictures needed for this layout. I have been working on my vacation photos and have many photos without us in them that tell our story as well. This was a great sketch to work with for a couple of those photos.

This is an all white background. I love negative space so I tweaked the sketch to include it. For more details and photos please visit me at my blog

Sketch 303 - Ashley Smith

Hi Everyone, Ashley here.  Today I'm sharing my layout for sketch 303.

I wanted to add some texture to this layout, so I cut the paper in 1/2 inch strips and folded the edges up to add some dimension to the page.

Little Moments of Our Love by Nicole Doiron - Sketch 303

Hi!  This is Nicole on this very special day to share with you
my take on  Creative Scrappers Sketch 303!

Here is a reminder of this month's fabulous sketch!

Since I knew my DT reveal was falling on Valentine's Day,
I knew that I had to make my layout as 'Valentin-y' as possible so I added
lots of hearts, some pinks and reds and a picture of my boyfriend
and I getting cozy during a special romantic night out.

The papers are from an older collection from My Mind's Eye
which I was lucky to have won at the time.  To this day, it is one of my all time
favorite Valentine collections - Lost and Found, Record It.

I did some misting on the background and on my embellishments
and added a bit of handmade border stitching...
with of course a couple hearts peaking through.

Every little moment that we spent together make
for splendid memories to document and scrap.
I am one blessed lady to love and be loved by such a wonderful man!

Now let's see YOUR take on this sketch!
I hope that you will all take the time to play along.

Crazy Girl sketch #303

Hey everyone!  Audrey here with you today to share my take on sketch #303.  Here is the sketch for this month that Kristine designed:

I love using square photos on my pages, and I also think that using strips is a great page design, so this sketch just has a lot of elements I love.  I found these silly photos of my daughter on crazy hair day for school and paired them with the Cute Girl collection from Crate Paper.  The colors were perfect!

I began by adding some strips of patterned papers and stickers to the page and accented it with stitching and some different shaped strips as well.

I found some assorted thickers to help make my title a big portion of the design, and instead of a circular element, I use an acetate heart shape.

A few glittered elements, some stars, mist splatters, and enamel dots help add some interest and depth to the page.

Hope you join us this month and share your take on the sketch!

Valentine's Day cards with sketch # 303 by Marielle LeBlanc

Hello sketch fans, Marielle here today to share a few Valentine's Day themed cards created with this month's sketch.

XOXO

For my first card, I used the sketch to create a small tag for my card.
I started by creating a 5"X 6"card base and adhered the black patterned paper. Next, I cut out a small heart at the top portion of a 4 1/2" X 5 1/2"piece of white cardstock and cut a frilly heart in pink and machine stitched into place, I also machine stitch a small tab at the right upper corner. I then adhered the white cardstock piece to the card base with 3D foam squares. Attached the tag with black twine and added embellishments.

Here's a side view of my card. I did add a piece of heart patterned paper inside the card.
Supplies are from Bella Blvd from my December kit from Clique Kits.

Hello Love

For this card , I flipped the sketch vertically. Card measures 4 3/4" X 6". I simply cut different stips of patterned papers and adhered them to a white card base and machine stitched the 2 outer edges.

I made a 2nd rosette with flower printed patterned paper and added sentiment and embellishments.
Supplies for this card are from the January kit from Clique kits featuring Crate Paper -Heart Day collection and Simple Stories- Adore collection.

Here's our February sketch again, we can't wait to see what you create with it !!

Don't forget to share your layouts or cards on Facebook and Instagram with the tag #Creating with Sketches. We'd also love for you to add them to InLinkz found at the challenge link above.
